  • Four nights of of live music with Dubai Beats on 19, 20, 26, and 27 of January 2023 as part of the 28th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival.

Dubai Beats is back again this Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) with another four nights of live music on the 19, 20, 26, and 27 January at the Dubai Design District . For all music lovers, get ready to discover some rising young musicians from the region that could soon make their way onto the ‘most-listened to’ playlist.

On 19 January, For all hip-hop lovers, Dubai Beats first night presents trailblazing female rapper Jara. Plus, DJ Aseel will be spinning tracks that incorporate traditional Arabic tunes. Completing the lineup is Saudi Arabian hip-hop star BLVXB. Some may argue that he is this generation’s most impactful Saudi rapper with his distinctively deep voice and melancholic melodies.

The second night of Dubai Beats on 20 January, DJ Kaboo will be hitting the stage. The Arab trap star rose to fame when his tracks were featured in Marvel’s hit TV show Moon Knight. The artist is uniquely known for his effortless fusion of classical Arabic pop hits with hardcore trap, hip-hop, and electronic beats. This eclectic fusion of sounds is bound to get everyone’s head nodding.

Also on 20 January, Arab music fans can also enjoy sounds from Egyptian musician Ali Loka, known for his viral track “Matkhafeesh Yamma.” And also confirmed to make an appearance is another up-and-coming Egyptian musician, Muslim.

The third night of Dubai Beats, happening on 26 January, sees another lineup of Arab musicians take centre stage. Khaleeji fans are in for a treat as Shamma Hamdan, the first Emirati woman ever to become a finalist in a season of Arabs Got Talent, will perform her hit songs. Kuwaiti popstar Bader Al Shuaibi will also be performing as well as Lebanese artist Mouslem.

Last but not least on 27 January,  Lebanese pop singers Farah Chreim and Lama Shreif will both be giving solo performances. Also confirmed to make an appearance and complete the night of this year’s Dubai Beats is Jordanian musician, Hossam Sillawy.
