CUEMATH’S MIDDLE EAST EXPANSION ACCELERATES WITH MOVE INTO MAJOR MARKET – SAUDI ARABIA

Saudi Arabia’s online learning market is growing at 21% annually..

Rapid consumer word-of-mouth is Cuemath’s growth catalyst.

1 February 2022: Leading global EdTech, Cuemath – a one-on-one personalised math learning platform backed by Google – announces its expansion into Saudi Arabia.

The move into one of the Middle East’s largest markets follows Cuemath’s rapid growth in the UAE – where the Company’s subscriber base has grown 600% since its June 2021 launch, and it now has over 180,000 customers – and its recent move into Qatar.

As with all of Cuemath’s rapid regional and global expansion – the primary catalyst has been organic, word-of-mouth amongst consumers.

The Kingdom’s EdTech market is rapidly growing with independent data from Ken Research, the research management consultancy, forecasting a 21% CAGR between 2020-2025. The public policy context is also supportive, with the digitisation of education prioritised in the country’s ‘Vision 2030’ strategy, to transform the economy.

Several other powerful market drivers include the country’s young population, a scarcity of teachers, increased female learners, increasing internet use, and a burgeoning entrepreneurial ecosystem – which requires math skills development.

Vivek Sunder, CEO of Cuemath, commented:

“We are growing rapidly in the Middle East and are delighted to expand into the Kingdom – the most populous country on the Arabian Peninsula. The attraction of Cuemath’s unique teaching methods has spread quickly across the region since we entered the UAE last year.

“The Kingdom has a young population, increased digital connectivity, and education is a high public policy priority. This combination is fertile ground for Cuemath, and we look forward to preparing the Kingdom’s children for future math-related jobs in a digitised economy, equipping them with the problem-solving skills they need.”

Cuemath has grown its global market presence to over 50 countries, including the United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, Canada, UAE, Egypt, Qatar, Nigeria, India and Thailand. The program is led by over 10,000 teachers from various professional backgrounds.
