RUN AS ONE – Blurb & Captions

Kite Beach Dubai  |  Sunday 12 April 2026

On Sunday 12 April 2026, nearly 1,500 runners and community members came together at Kite Beach Dubai for Run As One, a solidarity run. The event united more than 20 run clubs in Dubai for a single shared show of support for the city they call home.

What started as a word-of-mouth initiative quickly grew into a citywide gathering, with clubs that usually run independently choosing to stand as one. Dressed in the colours of the national flag, participants ran along the beachfront at sunrise across distances ranging from 2km to 8km.

Supported by a mix of homegrown and international brands including XLine Dubai, Spinneys, Gymsox, Humantra, Hala Pop, The Lab Studios, Saddle, Clubist, feels, Five Guys UAE, adidas, Red Bull and Costa Coffee, the event reflected the breadth of Dubai’s running community and the local ecosystem around it.

Organised and delivered by Kite Beach Dubai, Run As One was a reminder of how this city’s community comes together when it matters most.
