RESIDENTS AND VISITORS WIN INCREDIBLE PRIZES IN THE SILVER JUBILEE EDITION OF DUBAI SUMMER SURPRISES

The 25th-anniversary edition of Dubai Summer Surprises – the citywide celebration of festivities, family fun and amazing deals – has come to an end, but the joy continues for those who were lucky enough to win big in the raffles and promotions that took place at malls and outlets across the city. 

Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) and Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG), together with the DSS Back to School raffle, pulled out all the stops, offering incredible prizes for residents and visitors – from brand new cars to unbelievable staycations and huge cash prizes.

One of the lucky DSMG raffle winners, Zabifayyaz, who took home a brand-new Nissan X-Terra said: “I am really very happy, this is very surprising for me – Alhamdullilah – people only dream of such things. My family was so surprised. It was a beautiful moment.”

Christy Ann, who also won a stunning new Nissan, explained: “I was very shocked and very surprised. I didn’t believe it! My family also didn’t believe it, because this was the first time ever that I participated in something like this.”

This year’s DGJG raffle winners included Jahangir, a resident of the UAE for 12 years, who said: “I had never taken part in a raffle before. This was my very first time participating, and I won a gift voucher worth AED 5,000. I’m so happy! With this voucher, I can finally buy some gold for my mother back in Bangladesh. Thank you Dubai Summer Surprises!”

Vidhya, another DGJG raffle winner, has been in the UAE for almost two years. Commenting on her win, she said: “It’s the first time I’ve had the opportunity to win in a raffle draw, it was completely unexpected. My husband and I were really happy and thankful to the DGJG and DSS teams. We received an AED 5,000 voucher and bought a beautiful gold chain with it.”

DSS Back to School raffle winner Sumesh, who picked up a cash prize of AED 5,000, said: “I have been in the UAE for the past 13 years; this is the first time something like this has happened. It’s a great experience, I think that everyone should participate, we never know when we might win.”
