Moorfields Eye Hospitals UAE conclude 4th International Ophthalmology conference
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 3 February 2022: Moorfields Eye Hospitals UAE has concluded their 4th international Ophthalmology conference, ‘A Year in Focus’ that took place virtually on Friday and Saturday, January 14th-15th, 2022 with over 45 chairs and speakers participation across 10 sessions and with 12 CME points granted.
The conference highlighted the latest innovations in ophthalmology and saw over 1100 delegates from 55 countries attend to learn about the top eye care innovations to anticipate in the year ahead.
The conference received positive feedback, with 100% attendees confirming their interest in attending future conferences and scored in a range of 92-100% for every survey question.
The two-day conference included updates in the fields of Vitreoretinal surgery, Medical Retina, Uveitis, Cornea, Refractive surgery, Glaucoma, Oculoplastic and Paediatrics, all presented by the experts in their fields.
Sessions highlighted some of ophthalmological innovations that have taken place over the previous year, and also looked ahead to exciting breakthroughs expected in 2022. For the first time in the event’s history, the programme also included a session for allied health professionals.
As well as hearing about exciting developments from leading experts in ophthalmology, delegates networked with eye care professionals and colleagues from across the world.
