With just 10 days left of the 28th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival it’s the last chance to make the most of the exceptional experiences the festival has to offer right across the city. 

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), DSF is the longest-running festival of its kind in the world and has made magical memories across generations. As the festival approaches its final days, here are the must-experience activities to enjoy before time runs out. 

Catch the dazzling fireworks, and drone and laser shows as the festival draws to a spectacular finale. Learn about the latest in skincare at the Skin Care Nation pop-up at Mall of the Emirates. Guess what’s in the DSF Black Box at Majid Al-Futtaim Malls or be in with a chance to win with DSF SHARE Millionaire, DSF Golden Tickit, DSF Greatest Deal of the Year, DSF Home Fest and Everyone’s A Winner. Sway to tunes by Ashanti, Ja Rule and fat Joe, or Arijit Singh. And enjoy the Dubai Lights installations illuminating City Walk, Dubai Design District and Palm Jumeirah before they vanish. 

Pop-down to DSF favourite Etisalat MOTB pop-up for a retail experience with a twist, catch some of the hottest regional musical talent there at Dubai Beats, and find the perfect foundation shade and make-up galore at the Fenty Beauty Trailer. And for the tastiest bites in town, grab the family and head over to the Hub Market DSF.

DSF CLOSING SHOWS, FIREWORKS AND MORE

Make sure to catch the cutting-edge Drone Shows at Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR, daily at 7 PM and 10 PM until 29 January, with two specially choreographed shows set to original music. And if that’s not enough, from 26 to 29 January, visitors will be able to witness a mesmerising Laser Show at the same location, alongside the drone spectacular.

Enjoy the last 10 days of dazzling DSF Daily Firework Displays lighting up the city skies at Dubai Festival City Mall until 23 January at 9 PM, and at The Pointe from 26 to 29 January, also at 9 PM.

UNBEATABLE RAFFLES AND OFFERS

Participate in the DSF Black Box ‘Guess and Win’ by spending more than AED 200 at select Majid Al Futtaim Malls. Guess the prize inside the box to win it. CONCERTS AND ENTERTAINMENT

City Walk is aglow with installations from Dubai Lights: The Spark Within, but only until 29 January. This series of 10 installations from leading artists and studios working in light celebrates the power, resilience, and positivity of light and sound, as a symbol of connection between people, places, and nature. More installations that make up the second annual edition of Dubai Lights can also be found in Dubai Design District (d3), and Palm Jumeirah.

Iconic Bollywood singer Arijit Singh, dubbed the ‘King of Playback’ is performing at the Coca Cola Arena live on 20 January. One of Spotify’s most streamed artists, join him to hear soulful renditions of songs like ‘Kesariya’, ‘Channa Mereya’, ‘Tum Hi Ho’, and more. Tickets for the show start at AED 95, and doors open at 6.30 PM.

Watch R&B star Ashanti, Ja Rule and rapper Fat Joe live for one unforgettable night on 21 January, from 7.30 PM at the Coca Cola Arena. The Grammy and Billboard winner is all set to transport fans all the way back to the early 2000s with her most famous tunes. Tickets start from AED 175, and doors to the show open at 7.30 PM.

Dubai Beats is back in town with talented artists performing for four nights: 19, 20, 26, and 27 January, at Etisalat MOTB, Dubai Design District. BLVXB, Ali Loka, DJ Kaboo, Shamma Hamdan, DJ Aseel, and more, are among the regional icons sharing some of their latest sounds. Entry to the event is completely free of charge.

Experience the Mongolian Circus and their riveting, traditional acts of contortion, street comedy, juggling, and lots of other fun at Mercato Mall until 29 January. Mercato also has workshops for kids to explore their creativity, until 29 January.

FESTIVE VIBES

Dubai’s first of its kind, alternative shopping concept, Etisalat’s MOTB is back, and quite simply, an unmissable part of DSF. Etisalat MOTB runs from from 4 PM to 10 PM on weekdays, until midnight on Fridays, and from 12 PM to 12 AM on weekends.

Head over to Avenue Mall, Nad Al Sheba, to discover delicious food and beverages at The Hub Food Festival. Running until 29 January, from 4 PM to 11 PM on weekdays and until midnight on weekends, the festival is a treat for hungry families wanting to enjoy delicious food in the perfect outdoor weather.
