The Italy Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai has reached one million visitors since the opening on Oct. 1st: a figure that confirms the high interest of the international public for its exhibition path and its rich calendar of events.

In addition to the public in presence, 10 million virtual users have been reached since the launch of the Universal Exposition thanks to hundreds of activities and live streamed events organized by the Pavilion, through its social media, website and online communities.

For March, the final month of Expo Dubai, Italy unveils a full calendar of events and performances by internationally renowned artists, starting from the étoile Roberto Bolle to the winner of Italian Musical Festival Sanremo 2022 Mahmood.

The Italian Pavilion is also the most cited among the 190 national pavilions by online media across the world, after the US.

Since the opening of the Universal Exposition, Italy was able to amaze visitors and experts thanks to a mix of innovation and sustainability. It was awarded the prize as the Best Entrepreneurial Project of the Year by the prestigious Construction Innovation Awards in the United Arab Emirates.

Based on the analysis of e-commerce and Pos transactions through the digital payment networks at Expo Dubai, the official Network International platform has found that in terms of per capita expenditure, the Italian Pavilion – which houses the Solar Moka café by Lavazza and “Il Ristorante – Niko Romito” by Bulgari – recorded the highest spending figures of the event, followed by those of Germany, Japan, Spain and Thailand.
