India Pavilion at EXPO2020 Dubai celebrates Vishwa Hindi Diwas

DUBAI, January 11, 2022: The India Pavilion at EXPO2020 Dubai celebrated Vishwa Hindi Diwas (World Hindi Day) on 10th January to commemorate the significance of the Hindi language. The event was organised by the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) and the Consulate General of India – Dubai. Various cultural performances and Hindi poetry recitation by the Indian diaspora of Dubai were held as a part of the event. Artists from Suriname Pavilion also participated in the event. The event was graced by the presence of Shri Amrish Mankoe, Deputy Commissioner General Suriname Pavilion, Shri Uttam Chand, Consul – Visa & Consular Services and renowned Urdu Poet, Dr Zubair Farooq among others.
