The Gulf’s biggest and highly popular car showcase, Offset, is making a comeback for the second year in a row to Dubai’s only carpark event space, P7 Arena at Media One Hotel! Across April 20th and 21st, from 12pm till late, the ticketed event promises a fun-packed weekend, highlighting not only the GCC’s most incredible automobiles, but also a celebration of Dubai’s street culture. Guests can expect to get creative as they try their hand at graffiti or enter a street dance competition, or watch the pros soar at the skating and BMX areas, all while they admire some of the region’s most jaw-dropping cars at Offset 2024. Single day passes start at AED 50 for early birds, and AED 65 at the door, while weekend passes will cost guests AED 75. All tickets provide access to the buzzing after-party starting at 9pm until 3am, featuring top performances from regional artist Tac and DJs Mixed Feelings: Mister Mistry & AY the Producer in collaboration with Karak Nights on the night of the 20th only, and other exciting line ups for the 21st.
The star(s) of the show are the four-wheeled beauties set to be displayed across the spacious venue. Whether it’s classic charm or modern motors that make guests’ hearts race, Offset 2024’s collection is sure to inspire attendees from start to finish. The wheels that end up in P7 Arena as part of the showcase go through a rigorous application process, thoughtfully selected by the GCC-based scouting team, each chosen due to their high visual appeal, and unique modifications. Participants are selected from all over the region – including UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.
While the highlight of the two-day event is the extravagant display of cars at P7 Arena, the event is also a celebration of the region’s amazing street culture. Open to families, car enthusiasts, and those looking for a fun-fueled weekend, Offset invites guests to get down and dirty with the dedicated spaces for graffiti, skating, and more. Headed up by Graffiti Dubai, attendees are encouraged to be inspired by the live graffiti artists working their magic and let their colours shine by trying out graffiti for themselves, guided by Graffiti Academy Dubai.
Those who prefer to express themselves through movement has a range of options to try their hand at. Attendees are welcome to enter in a Street Dance competition, hosted by Grand Style. Open to anyone, the competition aims to encourage participants of any age to come out of their shells and show off their best street dance moves. Want to feel the ultimate rush of driving a supercar? Guests are welcome to try their luck at the driving simulator competition, the winner for which leaves with an epic prize (to be revealed at the event)! If guests prefer to be spectators, they can set sights on the skateboarding pros showing off their best tricks at the Skate Zone, hosted by Habibi Skate Shop, with live demonstrations taking place all day throughout the weekend.
All throughout the event, guests can tuck into their choice of comfort food as live stations and food kiosks will be posted at every corner of the event space. Whether it’s burgers, pizza, chicken wings, or just a plate of French fries guests are craving, Offset has got them covered.
