When one thinks of Russia, the first things that usually come to mind may consist of Siberian winters, bold bears and mesmerising matryoshka dolls.
However, Russia is much more than that, with a deep-rooted history and incredibly rich culture. The land of the tsars is responsible for world-class art and timeless music, rich history, breath-taking vistas and, most importantly, heartwarming people. From January 6 to 8, 2022, guests of Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach are invited to celebrate a nod to Russian culture, in the form of mixology at Hendricks Bar, with an award-winning bartender, Taras Zavalniuk from Xander Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St. Petersburg.
Taras will arrive to showcase his tremendous talent and creativity, which have led him to become a revered mixologist. The head bartender promises traditional flavours, craft cocktails and inspired conversations to share with the Dubai crowd.
In tandem with the Resort’s anticipated celebrations, over three nights the unique collaboration will feature six vibrant cocktails, perfectly paired with flavourful Russian fare. “The opportunity to partner with a sister property in Dubai is incredibly exciting,” says Taras Zavalniuk, Head Mixologist at Xander Bar. “Guests can expect a memorable experience, where the cocktail and food selection not only plays tribute to my home country but is also inspired by the monumental beauty of Dubai and its glorious sunshine. Named in honour of Tsar Alexander I, Xander Bar is one of the shiny jewels of St. Petersburg. The bar has been named as “Best Hotel Bar” by GQTravel Awards and has received several additional awards within the industry.
Taras’s cocktails will be served at a price of AED 90 including a tastefully paired canape.
