And before the festival ends, there are still thrilling opportunities for both residents and visitors to enjoy all that’s on offer, including winning life-changing prizes in the legendary DSF Raffles.

And as the city of gold, Dubai Shopping Festival Raffles are perhaps best known for giving shoppers chances to win this most-loved of metals. This DSF, Gold, diamond and jewellery enthusiasts who purchase beautifully crafted items for themselves and their loved ones for AED500 and above are eligible to enter the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group Raffle – with a kilogram of gold being given away to four lucky winners every week.
We spoke to some of the latest winners, who shared their excitement at taking home a ¼ kg in gold:
Rajan Saini Sukhveer Singh, 32, Indian nationality: I bought more gold in hopes of winning even more
Rajan said: “I am a resident of Dubai for the last four to five years. It was my first time participating in the draw. I got a call informing me that I was the winner of 250 grams of gold, which was unbelievable for me. I bought more gold after this win, expecting more possibilities of winning more gold. I am also excitedly waiting for the mega draw on 29 January. Thank you DSF, thank you Dubai!”
Fathimunnisa Mohammad, from Indian nationality: We gave our daughter a gold coin and she loved it
Fathimunnisa said: “I have been residing in Dubai for 12 years. We participate in the Dubai Shopping Festival every year. This year, my husband was gifted gold. We won 250 grams of gold, and are very happy. We gave the gold coin to our daughter and she was delighted! Thank you DSF and Dubai.”
Javaid Iqbal, Pakistani nationality: Winning the DSF Raffle has helped me financially
Javaid said: “I have been here in Dubai for more than 20 years, but it was my first time taking part in a DSF Raffle. I purchased gold from Joyalukkas and I dropped in my coupon for the lucky draw. I won 250 grams of gold, which will be so helpful for my financial issues.”
Meiza Yoosuf, 15, Indian nationality: Not first time taking part in DSF raffles, but first time winner
Meiza said: “I was born here in Al Ain where I live. It is not our first time taking part in a DSF raffle, but this is my first time winning one. When I went to visit Dubai, we went to Malabar Gold & Diamonds to buy some gold. After that, they gave us tokens to fill, and that’s how I won the prize. I got 250 grams of gold! This is my first time winning a prize like this, so I am so thankful to Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group and DSF.”
All visitors and residents alike can purchase jewellery from one of the 180 participating outlets of the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, earning a chance to enter the mega raffles and win prizes worth up to a total of 25 kilograms of gold. Outlets include the Deira Gold Souk, Meena Bazaar and malls within the city.
To enter into the raffle draw, customers must spend AED500 at these participating outlets and get the opportunity to win a share of 1 kilogram of gold each week through tickets redeemed from their purchase. Shoppers are able to claim one ticket when spending on gold, and two tickets when spending on diamonds and pearls. The prize is evenly distributed across the four selected winners. At the end of the Dubai Shopping Festival, all can look forward to the final week grand prize of 2 kilograms of gold, equally divided amongst eight lucky winners receiving ¼ kilograms of gold each.
