On the first day of Eid (22 April), guests can indulge in a range of activities to celebrate this festival with their loved ones. Children can join a cooking class and learn to prepare Masroshi, a delicious Maldivian snack under the guidance of the hotel’s expert chef. Little guests can also visit Footprints, the resort’s world-class Kids Club to learn skills such as 3D modelling.

Family members and kin can spend quality time by participating in the various beach games including relay, tug of war and local favourites such as Baachi, Dhalhu Vehti, Koraa, and more. Guests will also get the opportunity to watch the Patina Maali Parade, a local Eid tradition which sees islanders dressed as Maali (characters from Maldivian folklore) dancing and marching through the island accompanied by Boduberu drummers.

Veli Bar will be offering a Gahwa Hour where guests are invited to socialise over traditional gahwa, karak chai, dried fruits and cookies. Guests can look forward to enjoying a delicious Eid Gala Dinner, with their feet in the sand at Helios, the hotel’s Aegean kitchen. The menu will feature authentic Arabic dishes like hot and cold mezze, fresh seafood and meats straight off the grill.

Patina Maldives, Fari Island’s secluded location and tranquil ambiance make it the ideal destination for guests to revitalise and heal in nature’s lap.
