Q: Galadari Motors has recently added Lynk & Co to its portfolio. Could you tell us more about this new partnership?
Absolutely. Galadari Motors is part of the Galadari Brothers Group, one of the UAE’s most established automotive groups with over 60 years of legacy. We represent multiple car brands, and recently we added Lynk & Co to our portfolio — an exceptional premium lifestyle brand that’s redefining the way people look at mobility.
What makes Lynk & Co truly unique is its DNA — it combines European engineering excellence with Chinese manufacturing efficiency. The brand uses Volvo’s powertrain and chassis technology, and the design language comes directly from Sweden. So essentially, you get the best of both worlds: European craftsmanship, safety, and quality, paired with cost-effective production.
Q: What does the current Lynk & Co lineup look like in the UAE market?
We have a full portfolio. While our main focus is on SUVs, we also have sporty sedans such as the Lynk & Co 03, which comes in two variants — the standard version and the more powerful “03+”. And there’s much more to come; we’re continuously expanding our lineup.
We’ve already started operations on Sheikh Zayed Road with a pop-up showroom that’s performing very well. Our first flagship showroom, however, is now open in Sharjah, which we see as a key strategic market — home to nearly 1.9 million residents and growing rapidly. Sharjah, along with Ajman and the northern emirates, is becoming an important automotive hub.
Q: What makes the Lynk & Co showroom experience different from others in the market?
The Lynk & Co concept is very unique — it’s not just a car showroom; it’s a lifestyle space. Our upcoming flagship store on Sheikh Zayed Road will also feature the Lynk & Co Club.
This space will be open exclusively to Lynk & Co customers, offering them a place to meet friends, hold business meetings, or work remotely. There will be conference rooms, co-working areas, and a coffee bar with a professional barista. The goal is to build a community around the brand, not just sell cars.
In Europe, this concept is already very successful — some showrooms display just one car, while the rest of the space is about ambience, music, coffee, and lifestyle. The focus isn’t on the car itself, but on the community experience. We are proud to be the first to introduce this in the UAE.
Q: How is Galadari Motors supporting Lynk & Co customers in terms of service and after-sales?
Galadari Motors operates 16 facilities across the UAE and is one of the country’s oldest automotive distributors. We have a fully developed service network and a centralised spare parts warehouse to ensure availability and fast delivery.
Every day, parts are dispatched from the central warehouse to all service centres, so customers experience no waiting time. We’ve leveraged our decades of experience in automotive retail to ensure Lynk & Co customers receive the highest standard of service and reliability.
Q: Some customers express concerns about Chinese car brands, especially regarding spare parts and insurance. How are you addressing these issues?
That’s a very fair question. First, on spare parts, there is absolutely no issue. We are the official distributor, and by law, we are obliged to provide parts and service support.
The real problems arise with grey imports — Chinese cars sold without official representation. In those cases, spare parts and warranty coverage become uncertain. With Galadari Motors, everything is official, backed by a full network and warranty.
Regarding insurance, yes, premiums for Chinese brands can sometimes be higher. To address that, we offer one year of free insurance with every new Lynk & Co vehicle — so customers don’t have to worry. The reason premiums are higher in general is that insurers are still learning about these new brands, and they tend to price in risk due to limited data. But we’re confident this will balance out as awareness grows.
Q: How does Lynk & Co differentiate itself in terms of performance and quality?
The foundation of Lynk & Co is Volvo technology — both the powertrain and chassis are from Volvo, giving the cars European-level safety and driving dynamics. Every Lynk & Co model is engineered for international markets, not just for China.
The brand was actually one of the first Chinese automotive names to enter Europe, back in 2016, and it was designed from the start as a global brand. When you sit in one of our cars or take a test drive, you’ll immediately feel the difference — the materials, build quality, and driving experience rival premium German brands.
We’re not competing on price, but rather on value and experience. Lynk & Co offers premium quality at a fair price, aimed at customers who appreciate design, innovation, and craftsmanship.
Last Question: What’s next for Lynk & Co and Galadari Motors in the UAE?
We’re investing heavily in brand development and marketing, and our next big milestone is the launch of the Abu Dhabi showroom, followed by expansion across the Northern Emirates.
