This year, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has curated a range of activities taking place across the city that will appeal to both the young and young at heart. From special entertainment offers to family focused activities at markets and malls, this Eid is sure to be a truly memorable experience for both parents and children.   

Family Friendly Experiences

Head to the cultural district of Al Seef, for a special Eid experience that will feature a vibrant street market, authentic Emirati souq, luxury hotel stay packages and delicious dining deals. Kids will love the Museum of Illusions with its 60 visual and educational exhibits featuring holograms, optical illusions and immersive rooms that are designed to tease the senses and trick the mind. 

Dubai Festival City Mall will be hosting a special concert with A-list artists; Nassif Zeytoum and Rahma Riad at the South OverFlow parking on 3 May at 8:30 PM, as well as a fireworks display on the second day of Eid. The concert is an integration of “IMAGINE”, the record-breaking, immersive laser, light, water multi-sensory extravaganza. Tickets to the concert are available on Platinum List. And, until 8 May, Dubai Festival City Mall Night Market in collaboration with Ripe By The Bay, will offer a one-of-a-kind experience with delicious food, oud entertainment, camel riding and much more. The indoor Emirati Village will also highlight UAE traditions such as Hakawati (storyteller) and workshops for the kids, traditional setups and calligraphy.

Over at Bluewaters Island, Eid celebrations will feature daily roaming entertainment, henna and kids activities everyday until 7 May. A fireworks display will light up the sky above Ain Dubai on the second day of the festive holiday. Spectacular fireworks will also take place at The Pointe on the first day of Eid.   

The Beach, opposite Bluewaters Island, will also be in full festive swing with three days of DJs, roaming entertainment and special menus at its eclectic collection of restaurants. The UAE’s largest food hall, Time Out Market Dubai in Souk Al Bahr will feature a host of activities for the whole family over Eid, including face painting and balloon bending for the kids, live music and special culinary experiences curated by some of the city’s best chefs and restaurateurs.
