Health Bay Hosts a Grand Event to Shine Spotlight on the Importance of Infection Prevention

The event also celebrated the contributions of Frontline Workers to Public Health.

To create awareness about infection prevention and pay tribute to the invaluable role that Infection Preventionists (IPs) play, Health Bay – one of the top-rated medical centres in Dubai famous for providing international standards of medical care hosted an event on International Infection Prevention. 

The event witnessed the presence of Dr Arpan David CEO Al waha healthcare Investments and Dr Maham Anwar Operation Director of Health Bay Group who addressed the hospital staff and visitors with a keynote on the importance of maintaining hygiene for infection prevention.

The event also showcased activities such as fun games (PPE donning and Doffing activity), quiz, poster making, and more that aimed to spotlight frontline healthcare workers’ invaluable role in preventing infection. The event also extended appreciation to the staff who served as a backbone in mitigating infection risks and named key nursing staff members as Hand Hygiene and Sanitation Heroes.

The celebration also witnessed a cake-cutting ceremony to recognize and celebrate the critically important work of IPs.
