Yalla Green Mobility Show Set to Make History with UAE’s Largest Sustainable Test Drive Event

World Record Attempt Planned as Dubai Hosts Groundbreaking Green Mobility Experience on November 23, 2025.

Dubai, UAE

The UAE’s most anticipated electric mobility event is officially underway as organizers of the Yalla Green Mobility Show unveiled full details during a press conference in Dubai today. Set for November 23, 2025, at the Dubai Autodrome, this landmark event aims to break records and fast-track the nation’s green transition in line with the UAE Vision for Smart and Sustainable Transportation.

The launch was supported by leading sustainability champions including Eng. Maitha Alblooshi, Visionary Leader in Diversity and Sustainability and Agile Coach at ENBD; Barbie Nuki, Founder of the initiative and sustainability advocate from Yalla TV; Sal Jafar, CEO of Aerospace and ESG MENA; and Faisal Al Sahlawi, General Manager of Dubai Autodrome.

“Today marks more than just the launch of an event — it marks the beginning of a movement,” said the organizing team. “We are uniting technology, community, and vision to show what’s possible when innovation meets sustainability.”

World Record Attempt and Unprecedented Scale

The event will feature a landmark attempt to set the World Record for the Largest Sustainable Test Drive, with over 500 electric vehicles to be tested in a single day, making history in the region. Visitors will have unprecedented access to more than 70 electric vehicles from over 20 global brands.

“Every test drive will last about 15 minutes, with over 500 test drives expected to take place during the event,” said Aakash Pandey, COO of Yalla Green Mobility. “We are expecting over 3,000 visitors, and it’s going to be a full day of driving, learning, and fun. The idea is to promote sustainability in mobility and encourage people to try clean driving options.”

UAE’s EV Market Growth

According to Sal Jafar, CEO of Aerospace and ESG MENA, “There are currently 200,000 EVs on UAE roads. Last year, it was around 139,000. By the end of 2029, that number is expected to hit half a million. The UAE is well-prepared to handle that growth. Our EV infrastructure is already above global standards and is only getting better.”

Jafar added that EVs can also benefit consumers financially: “A motorist can save around Dh1,500 in fuel and maintenance, since electric cars don’t need petrol or regular oil changes. Raising awareness like this is great, not just for individuals, but for the environment too.”
