As a part of the UAE’s wider ambition to become a global digital hub, the NextGenFDI initiative that was announced on Wednesday the 6th of July 2022 by the government aims to attract more than 300 global technology firms. 

According to minister Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, measures are being implemented to make it easier for businesses and employees to enter the market, including quick incorporation procedures to speed up licensing, mass visa issuance, banking facilitation, and incentives for commercial and residential leases.
