We Love Dubai-Kite Beach invites residents to express their gratitude through a live digital mosaic

The We Love Dubai activation is now live at Kite Beach, one of the city’s most popular community destinations, inviting residents to express their gratitude for the place they call home.
Running now, until 12th April, at Kite Beach, We Love Dubai is inviting residents to become part of a live digital mosaic made up of thousands of individual portraits. Developed by Dubai Creative Community, the installation is building a collective message in real time: We Love Dubai.
The idea is simple. Visitors scan a QR code, take a selfie, and instantly become part of the artwork. The result is a real-time digital mosaic heart made up of the faces of the people who live and work in the city.
Kite Beach has long been a place where Dubai comes together. It is where people come to exercise, relax, meet friends, enjoy the food scene and be part of the city’s everyday rhythm. It is this sense of connection that makes it a fitting location for an activation centred around belonging.
At its heart, We Love Dubai captures the city as it is lived – vibrant, diverse, and continuously active. Through real people and real moments, the installation reflects the energy and spirit that defines Dubai today.
In a city that is home to countless nationalities, the activation is bringing together individual voices into one collective expression, subtle yet powerful, of a community that continues to show up, connect, and move forward together.
We Love Dubai reflects a simple idea: bringing people’s voices together to celebrate what the city means to them.
Different cultures. Different languages. One community. One home: Dubai.
Participants can also download and share their images after taking part. They will receive a sticker too, designed to help spread the message beyond Kite Beach and into the wider city.
