 TWO WEEKS TO GO.. WORLD’S BEST TRIATHLETES SET FOR SHOWDOWN AT INAUGURAL T100 TRIATHLON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

Over 40 of the biggest names in triathlon, including world champions, Olympic medallists, and rising stars, set to wow the crowds in Dubai this November.

Alongside the elite racing, multiple age group and community events will welcome athletes of all ages and abilities as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

With less than two weeks to go, the Dubai T100 Triathlon World Championship Final is set to ignite Dubai this 16-17 November. Over 40 of the biggest names in triathlon, including world champions, Olympic medallists, and rising stars, will compete in this high-stakes event.

The T100 World Tour, a seven-race series, culminates in Dubai, where athletes will compete in a 2km swim, 80km bike, and 18km run. The grand final in Dubai is the last chance for top-ranked athletes to win additional points and vie for the inaugural T100 World Champion title. The event will also determine the final split of the record $7 million prize pot.

Men’s Field Highlights:

  • Magnus Ditlev (Denmark) leads the rankings with victories at Challenge Roth and Miami.
  • Kyle Smith (New Zealand) and Sam Laidlow (France) are strong contenders.
  • Marten Van Riel (Belgium) and Youri Keulen (Netherlands) are also in the mix.
  • Alistair Brownlee (Great Britain) and Javier Gomez (Spain) bring their legendary status to the race.

Women’s Field Highlights:

  • Ashleigh Gentle (Australia) leads the rankings with victories in Singapore and London.
  • Lucy Charles-Barclay (Great Britain) and Flora Duffy (Bermuda) are top contenders.
  • Taylor Knibb (USA) and other notable athletes like Paula Findlay (Canada) and Laura Philipp (Germany) will also compete.

The elite course, weaving through Dubai’s iconic landmarks, from Sunrise Beach across to Meydan is designed to challenge every aspect of the triathletes’ skill set. The weekend will also feature a spectator friendly age group race, fan village in Meydan and community activities as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, including The Music Run, a 5km energy filled fun-run, open to all ages and abilities.
