Trucare FZC partners with Marina Pharmacy and Blueberry Healthcare International
Dubai, UAE, February 2022: Trucare FZC joins hands with Marina Pharmacy, one of the leading pharmacy chains in Dubai and Blueberry Healthcare International, a pharmaceutical products wholesaler in Qatar. This groundbreaking partnership endeavours to make the mother and baby care products of Trucare more accessible to communities where Marina Pharmacy and Blueberry Healthcare International serve.
As part of this partnership, Marina Pharmacy will now be stocking Trucare products including Tommee Tippee. Marina Pharmacy was set up in 2000 by Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rasheed and his wife. Today, the Marina Pharmacy name can be seen in 21 branches spread out across the UAE. For over two decades now, the Marina Pharmacy has served communities in the region with pinnacle convenience, on account of its accessible locations, stocking of widely recognised, trusted and certified products, as well as consultation from their medical reference centres. “I believe this partnership will help intensify our connection with our customers, particularly families, with a deeper sense of understanding of what they need to be more equipped in creating healthier and happier homes,”says Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rasheed. Alongside their physical branches, Marina Pharmacy runs a 24-hour call centre, which allows customers to request the delivery of medicines of their requirements directly to their homes.
On the other hand, Blueberry Healthcare International will now be showcasing Trucare brands such as Tommee Tippee. “For the first time ever, we are diversifying products in our portfolio to include more lifestyle brands that the whole family would love, thanks to Trucare,” says Shameem KP, Executive Director. Headquartered in Al Wakrah, Doha, Qatar, Blueberry started as a small family business in India. In their early years, they were involved in trading sectors before setting up overseas and moving their services entirely to healthcare, effectively evolving the company name to Blueberry Healthcare International. They now play an essential part in supply chains for economic growth of the gulf. Among the most important assets in their inventory include vitamins, personal care, home healthcare and optics solutions.
In addition to these partnerships, Trucare announces their acquisition of three world-renowned brand licences including the nostalgic Betty Boop, legendary characters from Dragon Ball series (Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super) and awe-inspiring figures from the manga series Captain Tsubasa. These will join household names in Trucare’s current portfolio of over 80 globally renowned brands, such as Tommee Tippee, LeapFrog, Fridababy, Playgro, The First Years, Boon, and Lamaze; and licences including Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Warner Brothers, DC, Cartoon Network, Universal, Nickelodeon as well as movies and TV series like Friends, Game of Thrones, House of Dragon, Harry Potter, Matrix, Mortal Combat and more.
Trucare CEO, Mustafa Zoeb is in high spirits to see fruition of this move, as he remarks; “I feel a great synergy from this partnership as I know all parties will symbiotically benefit from it. And with the acquisition of more brands and licences, we are tirelessly building our portfolio to be able to serve the region from a stronger position.”
