The opening weekend of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) is almost here and, this year, there’s double the excitement and two times the reasons to celebrate. For the 26th edition of the city’s favourite summer festival, the opening weekend coincides with Eid Al Adha celebrations, making it the perfect start to a whole season of summer fun and festivities, organised and presented by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).
Prepare for an extraordinary line-up of concerts and unmissable experiences with a unique DSS opening weekend. Topping the bill for Eid Al Adha celebrations are two legendary performers, Hussain Al Jassmi and Kadim Al Sahir, both set to take to the stage at the Coca-Cola Arena on 1 July to deliver an exceptional evening of entertainment. And if that wasn’t enough, the festivities continue with the highly-anticipated show from iconic singer Mohammad Abdo, known as the “Artist of the Arabs.” Be sure to catch this Saudi Legend as he makes his return to Dubai, performing for one night only at the Coca-Cola Arena on 2 July in what is sure to be one of the musical highlights of the year.
Enjoy Dubai Summer Surprises opening weekend celebrations on 29 and 30 June at Ibn Battuta Mall and City Centre Mirdif, with an assortment of live entertainment, stunning dance performances, and talented musicians – from 4pm to 10pm, daily. Enjoy an epic dance show by America’s Got Talent performers Urban Crew, a captivating show by magician Magical Most, an amazing set by the youngest DJ in Dubai, DJ Michelle, music from the up-and-coming Emirati singer Not So Human, as well as splendid performances by singers Aziz Maraki and Conor Maynard.
