The Women’s Show 2024.. Refining Women through Health, Beauty, and Inspiration

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, The Women’s Show 2024 took place at The Palace, One&Only Royal Mirage Hotel. This prestigious event brought together leading healthcare experts, renowned brands, and with influencers and bloggers, the event leveraged their vast reach and impact with a mission to continue spreading health awareness and women’s empowerment across the Arab region. 

The highlight of the event was a stunning fashion show by international designer Dalida Ayach, who unveiled her latest Fall/Winter ’25 Collection with an Equestrian theme.  

Ramy Ayach, the Lebanese singer, composer, actor and founder of children association “Ayach Al Toufoula” surprised the attendees with his presence to grace the fashion show and to support health awareness and empowerment of women in the Arab countries.

The concept of this event is to merge fun and education, and to simplify the message to consumers. It began with interactive exhibition stands featuring the latest healthcare trends and innovations, sampled products, provided health screenings and involved the women in interesting informative activities.

Her Highness Sheikha Dr. Shamma Mohammed Khaled Al Nahyan, (Chairperson of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions), initiated the event by an opening speech “”It is a great joy to be part of this distinguished event, which has become a platform celebrating women’s health, beauty, and cultural contributions. This gathering highlights the vital role of women as the cornerstone of society and their progress, especially in the UAE, where they are empowered across all fields. Women’s health and well-being are essential, not just for themselves but for the betterment of those around them. Prominent healthcare professionals took center stage to deliver impactful talks: 

– Dr. Karima Arroud, Functional Medicine and Aesthetics Consultant at Wellth by Medcare, discussed The Impact of Chronic Stress on the Body, she highlighted how chronic stress disrupts physical and mental health, leading to issues such as fatigue, hormonal imbalances, and weakened immunity.

– Dr. Mayada Elnegouly, Consultant Gastroenterologist, from Clemenceau Medical Center Hospital, addressed Colonoscopy Uncovered: A Vital Tool for Early Detection & Disease Prevention, highlighting the importance of Colonoscopy as a preventative measure, emphasizing its role in the early detection of colorectal cancer and other gastrointestinal diseases.

– Dr. Maissa Amam, Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology, from Biomerica, shared her expertise on The Power of Breast Self-Exam, supporting women with the significance of early detection in combating breast cancer, means it’s identified and it can be treated more easily.
