Dubai Opera announces its sensational line-up for September.
- The diverse programme includes world-class performances in ballet, opera and pop-concerts.
17th August 2022, Dubai, UAE: The home of exquisite performances, Dubai Opera, has announced its September line-up of four eclectic, world-renowned shows and concerts. The month-long programme includes five performances of the beautiful ballet, Romeo and Juliet, The Greatest Love Story of All Time, The outstanding opera, La Traviata, a concert from the French-Canadian singer-songwriter Margaux Sauvé with her project Ghostly Kisses and the world’s largest homage to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson- Michael Lives Forever, A Tribute to Michael Jackson.
Romeo and Juliet, The Greatest Love Story of All Time, September 9th – 11th- Ballet
Be enraptured watching Shakespeare’s masterpiece, Romeo & Juliet, come to life by the prestigious State Ballet of Georgia. The remarkable dancers tell the story of star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, as they pursue their passionate love affair despite their feuding families, ending in devastating tragedy. Set to the music of renowned composer, Sergi Prokofiev, this is a memorable ballet like no other.

La Traviata, September 13th – 14th- Opera
Witness the famed Opera by Giuseppe Verdi containing one of the most iconic, romantic and tragic scores of all time, telling the ill-fated love story between courtesan Violetta and romantic Alfredo Germont. La Traviata is an opera in four acts, contrasting vibrant party scenes with tender, intimate moments within the captivating performance.

Ghostly Kisses, September 17th – Pop-Concert
Ghostly Kisses, the dreamy musical project of French-Canadian singer-songwriter, Margaux Sauvé, will be performing for one-night-only at Dubai Opera. Singing songs from her mesmerizing debut album “Heaven, Wait” and euphoric anthems such as “Empty Note” and “Heartbeat”, this will be Ghostly Kisses biggest concert to date and her only concert in the MENA region throughout Autumn.

Ghostly Kisses will be performing for one night only on Saturday 17 September at 8pm.
Michael Lives Forever, A Tribute to Michael Jackson, September 23rd – 24th– Pop Concert
For the first time ever, Dubai Opera will be hosting the world’s largest homage to the one-and-only, Michael Lives Forever, A Tribute to Michael Jackson. Performed by the multi-talented Rodrigo Teaser, the show includes classic songs such as “Billie Jean”, “Beat It”, “Smooth Criminal” and “Thriller”. A true spectacle, the live interpretation of the legendary songs is complete with time-travelling costumes and choreography, curated by Lavelle Smith, the dancer and choreographer of Michael Jackson himself.
