Souk Al Marfa hosts an exclusive Ramadan art exhibition at its night-market
Over 70 artworks from all over the world, live painting sessions and custom-made paintings until 27 April.
Dubai, 22 April 2022 … Celebrate Islamic art during the holy month of Ramadan as Souk Al Marfa, the waterfront souk and marketplace at Deira Islands, partners with Sahra Art Gallery and Hayakkom Ace Carpet to host the opening of a limited-edition art exhibition from 8 pm to 11 pm until 27 April at the Ramadan Night Market.
Featuring over 35 artists and more than 70 paintings, the exhibition promises to deliver an immersive art experience through daily live painting sessions and an exceptional collection of original hand painted artworks from internationally acclaimed artists from USA, Canada, India, Egypt, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Palestine and Syria.
Furthermore, the exhibition offers art enthusiasts the opportunity to order and purchase custom-made art on canvas from renowned local and global artists.
Visitors can also experience the month-long Ramadan Night Market open from 8 pm to 2 am until 30 April, and indulge in Arabic sweets, Ramadan-themed products, kids’ activities, roaming entertainment and live performances.
More than 950 shops currently operate at Souk Al Marfa with another 200 set to open soon across various categories such as carpets, lights, spices, fashion, electronics, as well as the authentic Thai and Persian markets.
Souk Al Marfa’s operating hours in Ramadan are from 12 pm to midnight from Monday to Thursday, 2 pm to 2 am on Friday and 12 pm to 2 am on Saturday and Sunday.
