Social Distrikt To Host Live Acoustic Music Competition for Four Weeks Running, Launching on the 18th of October

Social Distrikt, the experiential food & bar hall offering consumers a multi-sensory dining experience unlike any other, is calling all musicians and aspiring performers to the stage! For those looking to showcase their music and win a cash prize, the popular food & bar hall will be hosting Jam Night – Live Acoustic Sessions in collaboration with Cre8tive Entertainment. 

Nestled in a prime location which sets a backdrop of the world’s largest fountains at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah, Social Distrikt’s Jam Night – Live Acoustic Sessions invites those who wish to take on the musical challenge to be crowned the winner. Commencing on Tuesday, the 18th of October, the Palm Jumeirah venue will host the competition every Tuesday night between 8pm and 11pm for four weeks to see who will be crowned the Best Solo Artist. The first three weeks will award two winners per night, where the fourth week will be those six finalists battling for the title of Best Solo Artist at the ‘Big Winners Night’. 

To participate in the competition, patrons must register for the Jam Night, where the Best Solo Artist will take home AED 1,000 from Social Distrikt, a voucher towards music equipment from Thomsun Music, and the chance to perform on the Social Distrikt stage at a separate event. The participating musicians will be welcomed back up on stage at the venue and can perform as frequently as every week, even if they have already been nominated for the finals. Join the event’s Tuesday evenings as all votes for the winners will be cast by the audience and conducted by the Social Distrikt management team.
