Rizwan Sajan Reaffirms Confidence in Dubai’s Resilience and Long-Term Growth
Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group, has reiterated his enduring confidence in Dubai’s resilience, leadership, and long-term economic trajectory, describing the emirate as his home for more than three decades.

“Dubai has been my home for over 30 years, and I will always stand by this extraordinary city,” Sajan said, underscoring his deep-rooted connection to the emirate. While acknowledging that no global city is immune to challenges, he emphasized that Dubai continues to offer a strong sense of safety and stability—even during uncertain times.
Reflecting on past crises, including the 2008 global financial downturn and the COVID-19 pandemic, Sajan noted that Dubai has consistently demonstrated an ability to recover and emerge stronger. “Resilience is embedded in Dubai’s DNA,” he said, expressing confidence that the emirate’s economy will continue to grow and thrive despite periodic headwinds.
Sajan also commended the leadership’s proactive approach to safeguarding both citizens and expatriates, highlighting ongoing efforts to ensure that residents feel secure and supported. In alignment with these efforts, Danube Group has taken concrete steps to assist those affected by recent disruptions. To date, the company has provided accommodation for more than 450 stranded individuals across its residential buildings and hotel properties, with plans to extend further support to those in need.
Addressing the real estate sector, Sajan suggested that current market fluctuations appear to be driven largely by sentiment rather than structural shifts in fundamentals. He cautioned against drawing premature long-term conclusions, noting that temporary uncertainty is not uncommon in dynamic markets.
“While developments like these can create short-term hesitation, the underlying fundamentals remain strong,” he stated, reaffirming his belief in a steady and sustainable growth path for Dubai’s property market and broader economy.
Sajan’s remarks reinforce a broader narrative of confidence among business leaders who view Dubai’s adaptability, governance, and diversified economic base as key pillars supporting its continued success.
