UAE’s Popular Homegrown Burger Joint, Pickl, Wins ‘Dubai’s all-new Best Burger’ at Time Out’s 2022 Restaurant Awards.
It’s no secret that Dubai is a melting pot for burger joints, and has some of the biggest, juiciest burgers, attracting residents, and tourists alike, making it a highly-competitive market from homegrown to globally-renowned brands. The 17th annual Time Out Awards, which took place on the 10th of March 2022, presented an all-new category, Best Burger Restaurant, which saw the rapidly expanding, popular burger joint, Pickl, take home the highly desired, prestigious award.
Motivated to find Dubai’s winning burger, judges set out on a hunt journeying around the city exploring new restaurants, anonymously tasting dishes, and judging first impressions to select an overall tastebud pleaser. Held annually since 2005, the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards are the most respected accolade any restaurant can receive in the region.
Winning the Best Burger Restaurant award demonstrates the success Pickl has experienced since inception in 2019, having been up against some of the globe’s biggest names. The Time Out editors have described Pickl as a burger brand that “packs serious swagger alongside all that flavour, from the towering Double Stack to the fiery Nashville. Little wonder it’s become Dubai’s best-known home-grown burger brand in just a few short years.”
