New Japanese-inspired contemporary restaurant, Otoro launches in Al Qana Abu Dhabi

April 2022, Abu Dhabi: A brand-new modern Japanese concept managed by UAE’s most respected, Chef Akmal Anuar, Otoro, launches in the capital city, Abu Dhabi. Situated in Al Qana district, Otoro is the latest addition to the White Rice portfolio. The restaurant philosophy is simple, great and exquisite food made with fresh produce from various prefectures of Japan such as Wagyu from Kagoshima, Otoro from Tokyo, Uni from Hokkaido to name a few.
Perched amidst the iconic landmarks in Abu Dhabi, National Aquarium, and Marina Waterfall, with views of the Grand Mosque, the restaurant, Otoro, boasts of modern architecture & interior. Staying true to the earthiness and neutrality of contemporary Japanese design, the restaurant has a bright and welcoming ambiance with subtle decorative elements. This focuses on the theatrics of an open kitchen, emphasises live Chef experiences and beautifully crafted dishes. The venue has room for 60 people indoors, and 40 outside.
The menu is unique to the restaurant and incorporates authentic and premium quality produce to make the most tantalising dishes, making exclusive and original flavours accessible for food connoisseurs in the UAE. Some of the highlights from the menu are Yellow Tail Carpaccio, Wagyu Tempura, Shabu Shabu Burger and Seabass Miso Yaki. Key desserts in the menu include delectable Green Tea Tiramisu and Dark Chocolate tart with butterscotch.

Unpretentious and unassuming, this new age Japanese dining concept is open to welcome Abu Dhabi residents & visitors for the ultimate gastronomic experience. As a part of their second phase Otoro aims to add Omakase by the Sushi bar.
