MODESH WORLD PRESENTS A SUMMER OF EDUTAINMENT WORKSHOPS AS PART OF DUBAI SUMMER SURPRISES
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 8 August 2023
The school summer holidays may be in full swing, but learning never takes a break at Modesh World, the annual indoor world of adventure and fun, which not only presents a thrilling array of activities and events this season but is also elevating the educational journey for both children and families alike.
Offering an impressive lineup of over 90 educational workshops in its 2023 edition, Modesh World aims to keep young minds engaged and learning throughout the summer holidays through partnerships with an array of various government entities, including Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Water & Electricity Authority (DEWA), the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Dubai (DCD), the Community Development Authority (CDA), Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (DRND) and the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), alongside private bodies including educational company BYJU’S Learning.
To ignite curiosity and promote learning, Modesh World introduces themed educational stage shows and workshops that revolve around key themes such as the Unity of the UAE, health, sustainability, and thematic learning around the four seasons of Summer, Autumn, Spring and Winter, offering educational-themed activities for all the family to enjoy.
Modesh World’s workshops offer a hands-on approach to education. From crafting passports with the DNRD to exploring the importance of hygiene through interactive dental checkups with the DHA, young kids are in for a unique learning journey.
Dubai’s Civil Defense is staging a playful pop-up quiz to shed light on their essential work, while Dubai Police presents shows to educate and entertain. BYJU’S Learning, DEWA, and RTA contribute to the interactive experience through engaging quizzes.
A highlight of the Modesh World workshops is the presence of characters from partnering entities, adding an element of excitement and engagement. Visitors can interact with these characters, learn more about their roles, and even walk away with exciting prizes and giveaways.
Some of the most anticipated workshops include DHA’s collaboration with children’s dental clinic Apolonia to show kids the importance of dental hygiene and keeping young gnashers clean, Dubai Police’s showcasing of their furry four-legged K-9 dogs, DNRD’s passport creation workshop, and DCD’s captivating pop-up quiz. These workshops aim to provide insights into various careers and their significance in society.
With over 200,000 attendees expected over the summer, Modesh World’s 30,000 square metres of indoor entertainment space offers an extensive array of attractions. From thrilling rides and exciting games to interactive experiences and live shows – and two new additions this year, the Gamefy zone and ice cream zone MELT – Modesh World is a paradise for both kids and the young at heart.
