To celebrate the annual reopening of Hotel du Palais in festive style, we are delighted and honoured to welcome to our iconic Rotonde the talented Franco-British magician, Stefan Leyshon, world-renown for his unique creations.

Evenings of exceptional and unforgettable magic found nowhere else in France, and for the very first time in Biarritz, at Hotel du Palais.

Starting on July 8th, Hotel du Palais will host two different magic-filled experiences, offering several dates, all open to the public:

CHAMPAGNE SECRET, a cocktail buffet punctuated by moments of mind-boggling magic. Start your evening on a mysterious note in an exceptional setting to the sounds of Daniel Susrechco on piano.

Select cuvées of champagne will be served between each magic act, along with savoury and sweet hors d’oeuvres prepared by Head Chef, Aurélien Largeau.

Price: €150 (places are limited to 35 guests maximum, prior reservations required)

DINER SECRET, more than a dinner, more than a show, an exclusive experience. When magic and the latest 21st century technologies combine to offer a one-of-a-kind show in a truly exceptional venue.

In 1854, while Napoleon III was offering Hotel du Palais to the Empress Eugenie, the famous illusionist Jean-Eugène Robert Houdin, entered the Palais-Royal court to present his latest magic trick: a ring disappearing in a scarf and reappearing attached to a ribbon carried by two mechanical butterflies.

Stefan Leyshon offers a modern and fantastic take on this traditional magic, adding liberal amounts of whimsy and poetry with his astounding talent and today’s technologies.

The evening’s menu has also been reinvented exclusively for the occasion by Michelin-starred chef, Aurélien Largeau. Between each magic act, a food-champagne pairing (5-course menu) will be served with a full range of champagnes from extra brut and rosé to millésime and brut.
