Keeta Qatar and Batabit Motorcycle Club Join Forces to Champion Road Safety Through “My Ride. My Responsibility” Initiative

Doha, Qatar – 19 November 2025

Keeta, the international subsidiary of Meituan, China’s on-demand delivery service, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Qatar Motorcycle Club (Batabit), a government sports club operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, to strengthen road-safety awareness and rider-training initiatives across the country.

The collaboration marks the official launch of Keeta Qatar’s 12-month safety and awareness program, as part of “My Ride. My Responsibility,” a Keeta nationwide initiative, designed to equip delivery riders with professional training, promote responsible riding habits, and inspire a culture of respect and accountability on Qatar’s roads.

Mr. Ibrahim Esmaeel Al-Heidous, president of Qatar Motorcycle Club (Batabit), said: “Since February 2025, the club has been implementing a structured training program for motorcycle riders, in partnership with the General Directorate of Traffic and Hamad Medical Corporation’s Injury Prevention Program, and with the participation of several companies. Keeta was the first company to proactively join the initiative and formalize a yearly collaboration framework with the club, reflecting their clear commitment to enhancing rider safety. Batabit affirms that delivery riders are an integral part of the community, and that providing training, awareness, and responsible riding practices is a shared responsibility. This collaboration strengthens defensive riding skills, reinforces adherence to traffic laws, and contributes to building a safer and more reliable delivery environment across Qatar.”

Jane Liu, General Manager of Keeta Qatar, said: “At Keeta, safety is at the heart of everything we do. Riders are the lifeline of our industry, they connect communities, power businesses, and keep cities moving. Through the ‘My Ride. My Responsibility’ program, we are working alongside delivery company partners and organizations like Batabit to strengthen training, awareness, and overall safety standards. It’s about more than rules; it’s about accountability and care, when riders are supported to operate confidently and responsibly, we all contribute to safer roads and stronger communities.”

Driving a Safer Future for Riders

Through this partnership, Keeta Qatar and Batabit are joining efforts to strengthen road safety and promote responsible riding within the delivery community. The collaboration will include certified training sessions and practical workshops led by Batabit’s expert instructors, focusing on the daily realities and challenges faced by delivery riders. Awareness activities will focus on nurturing respect for traffic laws, strengthening personal accountability, and encouraging empathy toward all road users; while also highlighting riders who demonstrate professionalism and set positive examples for their peers. Together, the two organizations aim to contribute to a safer and more respectful delivery ecosystem in Qatar, one where every rider takes pride in riding responsibly and protecting the community around them.
