“Furniture Fest”: Dragon Mart reveals interior design exhibition and competition during this year’s Dubai Home Festival

Dragon Mart, one of the world’s largest trading hubs, announces its participation in the upcoming Dubai Home Festival (DHF), scheduled to take place from 20 to 29 October. Dragon Mart will be hosting an exhibition under the name, “Furniture Fest,” combining workshops, talks and interactive activities to highlight the diverse range of furniture options available at its stores. Visitors can also enjoy special discounts and promotions across select furniture shops throughout the DHF period.
The exhibition will captivate attendees by presenting a range of design styles, from modern and classic to boho-chic and industrial. To bring these design concepts to life, Dragon Mart is collaborating with talented, aspiring designers, each of whom will contribute their unique talent and vision. Designer booths will showcase at the event, offering a unique opportunity for aspiring designers to display their work, connect with potential clients and reach a broader audience.
Dragon Mart will engage visitors of all ages with a range of exciting activities. From hands-on workshops for children, to design consultations and demos for adults, attendees can expect an immersive experience that encourages their creativity and promotes home decor inspiration. A diverse selection of restaurants available at Dragon Mart will offer guests a variety of food and beverage choices for purchase.
One of the most exciting elements of this year’s DHF festivities is the “Design a Room” competition, set to take place in Dragon Mart 2. University students will be challenged to design the ultimate room within the categories of Boho-Chic, Classic, Modern, and Industrial. A panel of judges will select two finalists per category, and these finalists will be tasked with designing a 7m x 7m space within Dragon Mart 2. Incorporating furniture available from a total of eight stores across Dragon Mart 1 & 2 and Sun Tour Home Furniture Center. A winner from each category will ultimately be chosen by the judging panel. The competition will offer the winners prizes, with first place receiving a voucher from Dragon Mart home furniture shops valued at AED 5,000, second place at AED 3,000 and third place at AED 2,000.
