Revolutionising the sector
Exalto Emirates’ participation in NAVDEX cements its position as a leading supplier of electrical and mechanical marine parts and equipment not only in the UAE, but also throughout the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent. The event’s emphasis on technology and innovation supports the UAE government’s efforts to promote the country as a global hub for the fourth industrial revolution.
Expressing the significance of the event to his company’s progress, John Paul, General Manager, Exalto Emirates said: “We are excited to be a part of NAVDEX 2023, and see this event as an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our latest innovative solutions that are revolutionising the maritime sector. The COVID-19 pandemic and the unfortunate geopolitical situation in the north-east part of the world last year have significantly accelerated the utilisation of technology-enabled solutions. These advanced digital solutions have proven to be effective in facilitating the continuity of business operations, and mitigating the impact of the global economic slowdown. The UAE has always been at the forefront when it comes to technological advancements and innovative solutions and practices. With the help of our wide range of advanced products, we look forward to contributing to the UAE’s National Innovation Strategy, which emphasises the need to adopt new technologies and develop innovative products and services in all sectors, including maritime. During the course of the event, we look forward to engaging with key government buyers and influencers, and are confident that our participation in the event will be fruitful for not only our business, but also the maritime and defence industry as a whole.”
State-of-the-art maritime equipment
Exalto Emirates will continue to showcase various products during the five-day event, ranging from low-emission outboard engines, boat security systems, stabilisers, shock-absorbing seats, and HamiltonJet waterjets, among others.
One of the standout products that Exalto has displayed at the event is the OXE diesel outboard engine. This engine fulfils the NATO “single-fuel” directive and is an ideal solution for naval, military, oil and gas applications. Apart from offering high endurance and utmost safety, the engine is also low-maintenance and helps to keep emission levels under control by using up to 46 per cent less fuel compared to equivalent petrol outboards, while emitting reduced CO2, Co, HC, and NOx emissions.
Additionally, Exalto Emirates showcased the SHOXS marine shock-mitigating suspension seat technology. This is the most advanced marine suspension seat technology for military, law enforcement, commercial, and recreational watercraft and vessels. It is designed to mitigate the effects of shock and vibration on the human body, thereby reducing fatigue and increasing comfort.
The company also displayed HamiltonJet waterjets, which are at the forefront of waterjet propulsion technology and are known as one of the most advanced and innovative marine propulsion systems. These waterjets offer a range of benefits, including superior manoeuvrability, high-speed performance, and excellent fuel efficiency.
