Many of the city’s top resorts, in locations from the Palm Jumeirah to Downtown Dubai, are offering extra-special rates for DSS, so whether you’re after a beachside break or an urban retreat, there’s never been a better time to explore your own city.

OFFERS FOR FAMILIES

Now is the time to book a family stay close to the beach, or your favourite mall or attraction for less. Pretty much every hotel in the city, whether a three-, four- or five-star like the Atlantis, The Palm or Park Hyatt Dubai, are letting Kids Go Free this summer, with up to two children allowed in an adult room at no extra charge, eating free on the same meal plan as mum and dad, and getting free access to the kids’ club, if the hotel has one. The Kids Go Free offers are a fantastic way for the whole family to relax and bond, with added value for money. Make sure to check which ages the offer applies to, with up to 11, 12 or 13 depending on the destination, to make the most of this special offer for families. Get all of the benefits of a relaxing stay, with money off at the same time. At the Address Sky View, Address Fountain View, Vida Creek Harbour, Vida Emirates Hills, Palace Downtown, and Golden Sands during DSS, get 25 per cent off their best rates.  Pullman, Swissotel, Aparthotel, Mercure, Mövenpick, Ibis and Novotel hotels in the city are all offering 10 per cent off on bookings made before August 31 for Accor loyalty members. Lapita Hotel, meanwhile, has 50 per cent off for guests at its spa.

Jumeirah hotels are also offering more for families over the summer.
