 Dalio Philanthropies Contributes AED 50 Million in Support of the “Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans”

Abu Dhabi, 18 March 2026

Dalio Philanthropies has contributed AED 50 million in support of the “Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans” initiative, launched by the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Authority – Awqaf Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to establish a sustainable endowment funding source dedicated to supporting orphans across the UAE, ensuring a more stable future and enhancing their quality of life.

This contribution comes as part of the strong local and international engagement witnessed by the campaign, reflecting its position as a leading humanitarian initiative that transcends geographical boundaries, promotes the values of giving and social solidarity, and reinforces the role of endowment as a sustainable development tool to support the most vulnerable segments of society.

The contribution also reflects Dalio Philanthropies’ commitment to supporting initiatives that deliver lasting social impact, by contributing to the development of a long-term support system for orphans, opening broader opportunities for education and a dignified life, while enhancing their stability and integration within society.
