DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, March, 2022 – Cleo Dubai, a Mediterranean restaurant located in the newly opened Hyde Dubai Hotel in the city’s Business Bay, will be celebrating the holy month of Ramadan, which is expected to begin on April 2^nd until May 2nd, with two special fixed price Iftar and Suhoor menus. The new menus, which will be available throughout the holy month, offer a selection of traditional celebratory dishes including bright salads, dips and soups, along with spectacular main dishes, delicious desserts and cooling beverages. Cleo offers familiar flavours enhanced by a worldly charm, perfectly capturing the vibrancy of Eastern Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. Cleo draws inspiration from Lebanon, Syria, Greece and Italy – putting a modern twist on classic Levantine cuisine.

Cleo’s Iftar and Suhoor menus for the holy month of Ramadan have been especially curated by Cleo Dubai’s Chef George Kniher for this auspicious time of the year.  Two different menus, Standard and Premium, have been created for each meal to provide additional choices to guests that meet their culinary preferences, dietary guidelines and appetites.  Both menus can be viewed on Cleo Dubai’s website.

Iftar Standard Set Menu

Iftar standard set menu begins with cold and hot mezzes which include luscious dips and comforting soups and then on to the main courses such as tender, aromatic lamb ouzi accompanied by oriental rice, nuts and a cucumber and yoghourt sauce, and a delicious vegetarian option of vegetable salona with vermicelli rice. Irresistible desserts include katayaf walnuts and the long-standing favourite, baklava.

Iftar Premium Menu

Guests will start their premium journey with a refreshing drink, move on to hot and cold mezzes with a wide selection of delicious dips and spicy segars, fried kebbeh, nourishing soups and crunchy salads before enjoying a main course of lamb frikkeh; juicy, tender and flavoursome with smoked wheat, nuts and a cucumber and yoghourt sauce. Try moreish Mahashi, vine leaves and baby marrows stuffed with best quality beef and rice. Katayaf walnuts and fresh fruit platters are among the desserts not to be missed to end this spectacular meal.

Suhoor Standard Menu

Freshly prepared juices followed by an array of creamy dips, crisp salad and soup of the day are the perfect start to the standard menu, followed by an inviting selection from the saj live station and hot dishes including perfectly prepared eggs; fried, omelette or shashouka, eggs cooked in a vibrant, spicy tomato and vegetable sauce, all served with hash browns, grilled tomato and braised mushrooms. Scrumptious desserts include Arabic Baklawa with dates and carved seasonal fruits. A truly sensational standard Suhoor.

Suhoor Premium Menu

Freshly prepared juices and a full Arabic Mezzeh start the Premium Suhoor menu, followed by a comforting soup and saj choices from the live station. Awesome main dishes include an amazing, bounteous Arabic Mixed Grill with appetising Shish tawook, and mouth-watering, tender, Diced Lamb and Lamb Kofta. Arabic Baklawa and dates or exquisitely carved seasonal fruits round off the superb menu.

Cleo Dubai is open 7 days a week from 7:00am – 1:00am serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every Saturday from 7pm – 10pm the restaurant offers its famed ‘Cleo Brunch’ which includes an indulgent selection of BBQ meats.
