Following the huge success of launching the “Activist Maker’s Workshop” stores in KSA and Dubai, iconic beauty brand, The Body Shop, is rolling up its sleeves again this February to unveil two new flagship stores in Abu Dhabi (Al Fursan Mall) and Sharjah (Rahmania Mall). The new ‘Activist Maker’s Workshop’ stores are part of huge expansion plans across the region that will encourage residents of these areas to explore products and discover how, together, we can fight for a fairer and more beautiful world.

SUSTAINABLE STORE FIXTURES

The Body Shop is going back to its roots and continues its passion for being forward-thinking and environmentally progressive. The stores have been outfitted with sustainable fixtures made from reclaimed wood and recycled plastics to help minimize their environmental footprint. Examples include a metal facade constructed in aluminium, which requires less energy production than other materials and is infinitely recyclable. The store also boasts worktop surfaces that are manufactured from 100% recycled material destined for landfills.

REFILL STATION

The refill station is a key part of The Body Shop’s ongoing retail strategy globally. Customers will be able to purchase refills for an assortment of The Body Shop’s body and hair care products in reusable aluminium bottles.
